SkyDrive - Flying car

 

FLYING CAR

Flying Car is type of  personal air vehicle or road able aircraft. It is a vehicle that uses a combination of sensors, cameras, radar  and artificial intelligence  to travel between destination .

                                         


BEGAN OF SKYDRIVE

                             Fly cars is finally became reality in Japan. The Japanese government is pouring money into a the development of flying cars with a aims of commercializing the futuristic mode of transportation as soon as 2003 , the Japan times reports flying’s cars being developed throughout the globe with likes of Airbus , Boeing  and Uber leading the charges.  The dream of covering small distance in vehicles and capable of vertical takeoff and landing is  very much alive and that’s especially true  in Japan.

                             Sky drive is one of the country’s newest flying car startups, Sky Drive project began humbly  as a volunteer  project called cartivator in 2012 with  funding  by top Japanese companies  including automaker , Toyota Motor Corp , Panasonic Corp  and video game developer Bandai Namco.

                       A demonstration flight three years ago went poorly. But is has improved and the project recently received another funding of $37 million, including from the development bank of Japan. The Japanese government is bullish on the jet sons vision, with a road map for business services by 2023 commercial use by the 2030.

GOAL OF SKYDRIVE

                The goal of the startup is set to sell at least 100 vehicles by 2028, each for the cost of a expensive car according or CEO.

                   Initially they plan to provide service in Japan, but they aiming to go overseas quickly, especially in southeast Asia.

                               


                 Tokyo based Sky Drive CEO Tomohiro Fukazawa is convinced that by 2050 anyone will able to fly any destination with in capital 23 wards in 10 minutes . The potential is enormous , with  global  demand for electrical vertical take off and landing aircraft is set to reach $1.5 trillion  by around 2040 , according to research by Morgan Stanley .

SPECIFICATION OF SKY DRIVE

                     This machine can fly  for just five to 10 minutes but it can be come 30 minutes , it will  have more potential , including exports  to place like china , Fukazawa.

                     If the cost of machine is $10 million no one going to buy them . if they fly for 5 minutes Sanjiv Singh said in interview.

  TESTING OF SKYDRIVE :

Japan SkyDrive Inc., among the myriads of “flying car” projects around the world , has carried out a successful though modest test flight with one person aboard .

                                        


Tomohiro Fukuzawa, who heads the SkyDrive effort said he hopes “the flying car” can be made into real life product by 2023.
